1Product Overview
The lower head bushing is one of the key accessories of the head assembly. It is installed in the inner hole of the head assembly with the upper head bushing of the head assembly. It plays the role of lubrication (bearing) and protection during the operation of the crusher, preventing damage caused by direct contact between the head assembly and the main shaft.
Application Fields
It is widely used in the field of ore crushing in metallurgy, construction, hydropower, transportation, chemical industry, building materials and other industries. It is suitable for Metso HP series cone crushers and is an indispensable accessory for large-scale stone plants and mining crushing operations.
- The installation method is interference fit: the new lower head bushing needs to be cooled with dry ice for at least 2 hours before installation. After sufficient cooling, the lower head bushing is lifted with a lifting ring to ensure that the lower head bushing edge and the bottom edge of the head assembly are parallel.
- Maintenance: Regularly check the wear of the lower head bushing under the head assembly and the matching clearance with the eccentric bushing. If the clearance is too large or too small, the lower head bushing is severely worn, etc., it should be replaced in time. At the same time, the quality and amount of lubricating oil should be guaranteed, and the oil circuit should be checked regularly for blockage.
